We are pleased to announce the appointment of Thomas Goddard for R&D commission as part of our development programme funded by Arts Council England Lottery Funding. Thomas has been working with us since May and will be working with YAY, our creative young people group for aged 13-17 in the 6 months to develop new initiative which lead by young people for young people in Yeovil.

Thomas Goddard is a contemporary visual artist from Cardiff, Wales. By collecting ideas, insights, humour and histories from communities, he supports people to understand and find new ways to see themselves and the world. Thomas received the inaugural Marsh Award for Excellence in Gallery Education and has worked with the BBC, Wales Arts International, CADW, Take A Part and HLF. Thomas was recently selected for Survey – a major exhibition by Jerwood Space presenting works by 15 early-career UK artists in 2018/19, touring to Bluecoat, Liverpool; g39 Cardiff and Baltic Gateshead.
