Yeovil Art Space is thrilled to invite 13–17 year-olds of all abilities to join Young Artist Yeovil, a continuation of our Saturday Art Club for 7-12 year olds. We believe in making a safe place for experimentation and creativity. And we know that thinking in different ways can have a huge impact on young minds and we love art.. So!… If your young person is showing an interest in art and creativity, we have just the thing.
The teens have a more intermediate focus, helping students develop their personal style and portfolio while having the opportunity to display their work and develop further confidence by being encouraged to work in collaboration with others outside a schoollike setting.
To get the full experience, all you need to do is join us every other Saturday, 1pm – 3pm, during the term time. We’re looking for young people who are seeking a safe, inspiring and nurturing space to explore their artistic potential, develop their confidence and discover talent.
Our Club is fully inclusive and we are equipped to support those from disadvantaged and/or diverse backgrounds, including but not limited to young people who are neurodivergent, not in school, have caring responsibilities, disabilities and/or English as an additional language.
