Anthology forward by Liz Pike

“It is a joy and honour being invited to write an introduction to this Anthology.  The reason? I have an honest love of ‘Our Town’ of Yeovil.  In my lifetime it has continually evolved, but at its heart there is a solid, friendly West Country town full of character and history. In this delightful Anthology where words and pictures come together, to bring us heartfelt images of ‘Our Town’ as we see it now, is inspiring.  Enjoy the feelings generated by the written word of our poets and creative images by our artists.

What the future holds for this magical place called Yeovil as she transitions, is an open and truly exciting question. Creativity always drives natural evolution forward. Yeovil Art Space is part of the equation with art and culture at its heart.”
