We are so pleased to be able to run events again and invite artists to run workshops from Yeovil Art Space.  Connections through creativity are part of what we are all about.

Self-care Art Journalling Workshop – with artist Ali Mauger

[Introduction workshop] Saturday 18 February 10-12 or 1-3

[Progression workshop] Saturday 18 March 10am – 3pm

Join us at Yeovil Art Space for an inspiring introductory Art Journaling workshop designed to show you how to develop an everyday creative practice that can also help improve your well-being. Art Journaling does not require any previous art experience, although you can use existing skills to excellent effect, making it suitable for all.

Our tutor and artist Ali Mauger will guide you through a simple book binding technique together with a variety of creative approaches to use at home and you will leave with an individually created art book.

£10 (Introduction) or £25 (Progression sessions)

These workshops are run in partnership with Somerset Skills & Learning. The sessions are FREE for attendees with the following SS&L eligibilities:

  • aged 19+ 
  • AND live in Somerset (not including Bath & North East Somerset) 
  • AND you have lived in the UK/EU for the last 3 years OR you have refugee status / right to remain. *Please note – proof of eligibility may be requested.
  • AND are unemployed / have a combined household income of less than £20,000 per year
