Interested to run a creative workshop with us? How it works?

[Hourly hire fee]

Hourly rate £12/hr, to include time to get-in, setup, deliver and pack up, plus 20% commission on bookings to cover administration cost for handle bookings and payments.

Hourly rate is non-refundable and to be paid to Yeovil Art Space 4 weeks prior hire dates. It covers the time for the key holders, electricity, water and administration costs for your booking.

[Marketing]

We will promote the workshop at least 4 weeks in advance, to include this in our newsletter, social media and website.

It is your responsibility to supply adequate and good-quality promotional information, including images and text. We can also offer a design service at a cost of £25 to produce a square graphic for social media and artwork for A3 posters and A5 flyers. This will enable you to self-promote on other platforms and produce your flyers to advertise your workshop/event.

[Bookings]

20% bookings commission deducted prior to your payment to cover booking administration. Filling workshop capacity is a shared responsibility between yourself and YAS.

All booking follows our cancellation policy: 50% refund for cancellation within 14 days prior to the event, and non-refundable thereafter.

[Health & Safety / Safeguarding]

All must provide own Personal Liability Insurance, DBS (optional- only applies to children’s and vulnerable adults workshop) and Risk Assessment form (available on request). All workshops follow our Safeguarding Policy, Health & Safety Policy (including Covid-19 measures)

[Do you offer workshop support/training?]

We do run free training sessions on how to run a workshop if this is something that is new to you. If required please do ask for more information on this.

[What is the workshop capacity?]

Upstairs Learning Space: Up to 12 participants, not including tutor (this is not wheelchair accessible)
Ground Floor: Up to 12 participants, not including tutor (Wheelchair accessible)

[When can I run workshops?]

Evening: anytime between 5pm – 8pm (Ground floor and upstairs)
Mondays, Tuesdays and Sundays anytime (Ground floor and upstairs)
Wednesdays – Saturdays daytime 10-5 (upstairs space only)
