As part of the OUR TOWN project we are delighted to be working with students at Yeovil College on a brand new ‘Creative Enterprise Programme’
The programme aims to bring positive change to the town and its community, with a long-term aspiration to retain & recruit younger generations in Yeovil by offering tangible skills development opportunities.

We know that being inclusive of all ages and groups is vital to the regeneration of our town; that students have an opportunity to be a key part of our town centre offer and visitor experience.
Students on the Level 3 Year 2 National extended diploma in Art and Design Practice at Yeovil College will participate in a series of facilitated workshops with Yeovil Art Space and work on their own Enterprise projects through to the new year.
Sessions with the students have been led by YAS Executive Director Zoe Li and Engagement Director Natasha Rand in collaboration with artist-tutor Andy Rollo. They have included content on ‘Knowing Your Market’, ‘Changes you Want to Make’, ‘Create your Own Enterprise’ and ‘Project planning and Collaboration’ as well as a practical with OUR TOWN Artists Sue Green and Alice Bowen-Churchill
We are very excited to be working with the students especially towards the Yeovil Art Weekender in March 2026 – watch this space for more updates soon!
