Yeovil Art Space is thrilled to invite 13–16 year-olds of all abilities to join Young Artist Yeovil, a FREE Art Club in partnership with National Saturday Club!

Starting in January 2026, the Club will offer exciting biweekly sessions at our creative space in Yeovil Town Centre. Our Club will enable you to develop your creative ideas and explore your interests in making, designing and crafting. Club members are encouraged to ignite their passion for the arts through experimental drawing projects, guided sessions, as well as exploration in techniques linked to printmaking, creative media, textiles and mixed media arts. Members will be supported to work independently, as well as work part of a team. Throughout the sessions, participants will be encouraged to create a collaborative piece of work that will be exhibited in London in the Summer. 

As part of the national programme, you will be able to take part in the Masterclasses from a national artist, as well as visit galleries, exhibitions, and attend the end-of-year trip to London to see your own creation on display at the Summer Show exhibition at Somerset House, along with other 200 clubs from around the UK!

To get the full experience, all you need to do is join us every other Saturday, 1pm – 3pm, during the term time. We’re looking for young people who are seeking a safe, inspiring and nurturing space to explore their artistic potential, develop their confidence and discover talent.

Our Club is fully inclusive and we are equipped to support those from disadvantaged and/or diverse backgrounds, including but not limited to young people who are neurodivergent, not in school, have caring responsibilities, disabilities and/or English as an additional language.
