Pauline Rook In Conversation With Amelia Bennett

We are inviting you to a special event which accompanies our current exhibition ‘End of an Era’.  Meeting Amelia Bennett of Greggs Riding School and exploring Pauline Rook’s evocative black and white photography, documenting their last few days in Somerset.

Do you have memories and connections or a story associated with the school?  

One of the oldest riding schools in Britain, it has held a special place in many hearts and we are delighted to hold this event, giving an opportunity to explore its history, community and way of life.

The event will include an ‘In Conversation’ with Amelia Bennett who had lived there since the age of one, as well as a presentation from Pauline Rook on making the documentation, with the purpose of keepsaking the school for family and future generations.
